Computers can do amazing things nowadays; for example, they can allow us to enter into the creations of artists. That is, we can walk into the picture and interact with the artist’s work. Here is a machinima (a film created within a virtual world environment) made by Lori Landay, Associate Professor of Cultural Studies at Berklee College of Music.
This machinima titled ‘CLICK’ explains what ’Immersive and Interactive Virtual Art’ is while showing us the work of virtual artists. The work shown is part of the University of Western Australia’s 3D Art and Design Challenge exhibition.
